Hurricane Melissa has strengthened into a 'major' Category 4 storm, with winds of up to 140 mph. Officials say its possible the storm intensify to a Category 5 storm on Sunday.

Jamaica officials described the storm as 'catastrophic.' Melissa could drop torrential rains of up to 30 inches on Jamaica, according to the National Hurricane Center.
